After a very hard Florida winter, frost damage can look dramatic, but patience is the key.
Lisa Sanderson, a Master Gardener with years of experience, has some tips for us on how to approach this.
Don’t rush to prune away all those dead branches. Damaged foliage can actually protect the plant’s crown from additional cold.

Bus Trip

May is a perfect time of year to visit Bok Tower Gardens.
Important note: Since El Retiro, the estate on the grounds, is not open on Mondays, we are taking this trip on Tuesday.
The cost of the trip is $60 which includes transportation and entrance to the Gardens and home.
Bus will leave Brownwood at 9:00 a.m. and return at approximately 5:00 p.m.
